So Many Cathedrals, Basilicas, What Have You

I admit, I’m definitely in the “How Many European Churches Can One See Before They All Look Alike” club. There are just so many!! And Florence definitely has a lot!!

But sometimes I do have to stop and appreciate the amazing art and architecture that goes into these churches. I especially can get caught up in the details. The million details.

So, here are my pics from this morning’s trip to the Basilica di Santa Maria Novella. And honestly, it’s gorgeous. The last picture is the gift shop, converted from one of the many side chapels.
