Quick Tour and Overview of Florence

Chilly, cloudy day here and I was getting cold and a bit tired walking around (jet lag still hanging on). Solution? Cup of hot chocolate then jump into a tuk -tuk style vehicle and get a ride around town. Saw a number of highlights, including Piazzale Michelangelo, with its replica David statue, Abbiaza di San Miniato al Monte, views of the Ponte Vecchio (ancient bridge over the Arno River), Chiesa di Ognissanti, where Botticelli is buried, and more. Botticelli is a favored son here, as he was born here, along with Amerigo Vespucci.

My driver, Eric, was fun and we had a good time bombing around town for a while.
